Good for a couple getaway

The staff were surprisingly friendly, especially the owner who made us feel right at home during trivia night at the pub. The room was clean and had some nice little touches like extra hooks and shelving, something you don't find in many places.

It wasn’t overpriced but still on the higher side for what you get.

The bathrooms showed signs of age and required updates. The room lighting could use improvement, and the check-in process felt a bit chaotic at times. Traffic noise was noticeable from the nearby store.

Our stay at The Iona Heights Inn was wonderful! The room was spacious and cozy, with a beautiful view of the Bras d'Or Lake. The kids loved the pool area, and the staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed the delicious food at the onsite pub and even got to experience some local music during dinner, which was a hit with the kids.

Enjoyed the onsite pub, where the food was delicious and made our stay even better. However, the bathroom could use some attention. The shower temperature fluctuated between freezing and boiling, which was frustrating. Also, I noticed that the cleanliness needed improvement. there were some crumbs on the floor when we arrived. Despite these issues, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was nice. Would recommend for the location and comfort, but improvements in maintenance and cleanliness are necessary.
